Before lighting, trim each wick to approximately 5 mm to support an even, steady burn and help reduce smoke and mushrooming.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eFor the first burn, allow the wax to melt all the way across to the edges of the container to create an even melt pool. This helps prevent tunnelling and supports better scent performance over the life of the candle. For larger candles with more than one wick, always light all wicks at the same time so the surface melts evenly.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eDo not burn the candle for more than 3 to 4 hours at a time. Extinguish the flame carefully using a snuffer or by gently blowing it out, then allow the wax to cool and solidify completely before moving the candle or relighting it.
