How to Use Scented Soy Candles Correctly
Place your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts, open windows, air vents, and flammable objects.
Before lighting, always trim the wick to approximately 5 mm. This helps create a steady flame, reduces smoke, and prevents excessive soot or mushrooming.
Light the candle carefully and allow the wax to melt evenly across the surface during each burn.
How to Get the Best Burn & Scent Performance
First Burn Is Critical
On the first burn, allow the wax to melt fully across to the edges of the container. This creates an even melt pool and helps prevent tunnelling, ensuring better scent performance throughout the candle’s life.
Burn Time Guidelines
- Do not burn for more than 3–4 hours at a time
- Allow wax to cool and solidify completely before relighting
- Trim the wick to 5 mm before every burn
Multiple Wick Candles
For candles with more than one wick, always light all wicks at the same time to ensure an even melt pool and consistent scent throw.
