Place your candle on a heat resistant surface before lighting. Trim each wick to approximately 5 mm to ensure a clean, even burn. For the first burn, allow the melted wax to reach the edges of the jar to prevent tunnelling. Avoid burning for longer than 3 to 4 hours at a time. Extinguish the flame gently and let the wax cool before relighting to preserve optimal scent and candle life.

Keep the lid on, where applicable, or cover the candle when not in use to protect it from dust and to help preserve the scent. Do not store candles inside parked vehicles or in areas that become very hot, especially during South African summers. Keep out of reach of children and pets and away from food, food preparation areas and open flames when not in use.
