Place the candle on a stable, heat resistant surface away from drafts, open windows and flammable objects. Before lighting, trim each wick to approximately 5 mm to support an even, steady burn and help reduce smoke and mushrooming.

For the first burn, allow the wax to melt all the way across to the edges of the container to create an even melt pool. This helps prevent tunnelling and supports better scent performance over the life of the candle. For larger candles with more than one wick, always light all wicks at the same time so the surface melts evenly.

Do not burn the candle for more than 3 to 4 hours at a time. Extinguish the flame carefully using a snuffer or by gently blowing it out, then allow the wax to cool and solidify completely before moving the candle or relighting it. Re trim the wicks to around 5 mm before each new burn.

For external use only. Do not use the wax or fragrance on skin. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from children, pets and anything that can catch fire. Do not burn candles on or near curtains, bedding, books, decorations or other flammable items.

Keep the candle free of matches, wick trimmings and any foreign objects. Do not move or touch the candle while the wax is liquid or while the container is hot. Avoid placing the candle directly on televisions, speakers, plastic surfaces or other heat sensitive finishes.

If wax is spilled, allow it to cool and harden before carefully lifting or scraping it from the surface. If fragrance or melted wax comes into contact with skin, wash with soap and water. In case of contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with clean water and seek medical advice if irritation persists.

Store candles upright in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heaters and other heat sources. Excess heat or sunlight can soften the wax, fade the fragrance and affect colour. Keep the lid on, where applicable, or cover the candle when not in use to protect it from dust and to help preserve the scent. Do not store candles inside parked vehicles or in areas that become very hot, especially during South African summers. Keep out of reach of children and pets and away from food, food preparation areas and open flames when not in use.

Burn Time: Actual burn time will vary based on wick care, room temperature and how long the candle is burned during each use. As a general guideline under typical indoor conditions: 100 g single wick candle - approximately 15 to 20 hours 315 g double wick candle - approximately 35 to 45 hours 550 g triple wick candle - approximately 60 to 75 hours For best results, follow the wick trimming and burn time recommendations in the directions. Proper care helps the candle burn more evenly and supports a better scent experience in South African homes.
