How To Use Your Candle
Place your candle on a heat-resistant surface before lighting. Trim the wick to approximately 5 mm each time to ensure a clean, even burn. For the first burn, allow the wax to melt evenly to the edges of the jar to prevent tunnelling. Avoid burning the candle for longer than 3 to 4 hours at a time. When extinguishing, do so gently and allow the wax to cool completely before relighting.
Care, Safety And Storage
For your safety, use this candle for external use only. Do not apply wax or fragrance to the skin. Never leave a burning candle unattended and keep it out of reach of children and pets. Avoid placing near flammable materials and do not move the candle while the wax is liquid. Protect surfaces by placing the candle on heat-resistant bases and store it upright in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources.

Store candles upright in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heaters and other heat sources. Excess heat or sunlight can soften the wax, fade the fragrance and affect colour. Keep the lid on, where applicable, or cover the candle when not in use to protect it from dust and to help preserve the scent. Do not store candles inside parked vehicles or in areas that become very hot, especially during South African summers. Keep out of reach of children and pets and away from food, food preparation areas and open flames when not in use.
